Title:
CONCRETE KNEADING DEVICE WITH AGGREGATE-PRECOOLER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01127302
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To cause the quality of kneaded concrete to be uniform by keeping the moisture-containing ratio in aggregate constant, while its temperature is uniformly lowered by providing a well point at the lower part of an aggregate reservoir.

CONSTITUTION: The aggregate in storing is cooled by pressurized cooling air sent into the upper space of the aggregate reservoirs 1a, 1b enclosed by an enclosing wall 17 from a cooling air-feeding duct 5. While the cooling air sent under pressure passes the spaces between aggregate particles and cools the aggregate, said air flows downward and is collected in the well point 4 provided at the lower part of the aggregate reservoir with the moisture having been absorbed. Said air enters an air handling unit 8 by way of a collecting pipe 4', through the exhaust duct 6 of cooling air and via an exhaust fan 7, and after it has been cooled and demoistured by the cooler therein, it is again sent to the upper part of the aggregate reservoirs 1a, 1b by an air feeding fan. When this cycle is repeated for a certain time, the aggregate is cooled to a prescribed temperature. Then the aggregate is sent to a mixer through a batcher plant 15 and a measuring instrument. On one hand, the kneading water of the concrete is cooled by the cooling device 8 or partially cooled by the ice sent from a freezer 19, and then it is used.
