PURPOSE: To execute a conduction test of the whole with regard to a channel used for an actual call by connecting a conduction testing device to each highway, and executing a turning-back conduction test at every time switch before exchanging a service call.
CONSTITUTION: Before executing an exchange connection of subscriber telephone sets 1A, 1B of the calling side and the called side, a time switch 6A is connected to a wide blank arrow, and a conduction test of highways 4A, 5A is executed by turning back the switch 6A by a conduction testing device 8A connected to the highways 4A, 5A. After it is cofirmed that the conduction is good, a circuit is extended to a time switch 7 by connecting the switch 6A to a broken line arrow. The switch 7 is turned back and connected by a blank arrow, and the same test is executed by the device 8A. Subsequently, the switch 7 is connected to the broken line arrow, the circuit is extended to a switch 6B, a turning-back test is executed by connecting the switch 6B to the blank arrow, and thereafter, it is connected to the broken arrow, the circuit is extended to a communication terminal interface circuit 3B, and a conduction test of highways 4B, 5B is executed by turning back and connecting the circuit 3B.
