To provide a cabinet capable of resolving communication failures caused by a conductive housing by a simple and low-cost configuration, and of suppressing intrusion of dust and small animals via an opening to the minimum.
A cabinet 1 has a conductive housing 2. Various electrical devices and a wireless transmission/reception unit 6 are installed in a device housing chamber 3 of the housing 2. The wireless transmission/reception unit 6 collects operation information on the electrical devices, and communicates with an external unit 5 via an aerial wire 7. The aerial wire 7 is installed on an upper end surface of the housing 2, and is connected with the wireless transmission/reception unit 6 by a communication wire 10. A fence wall 8 is provided and stood around the aerial wire 7. A plurality of slits 9 that are long in a horizontal direction are formed at the fence wall 8 in a vertical direction. An electric wave originated by the external unit 5 is diffracted by the slits 9 and directed to the aerial wire 7. An electric wave emitted from the aerial wire 7 is diffracted by the slits 9 and directed to the external unit 5.
