Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain strong adhesion property between a conductive core material and a conductive foamed adhesive layer and to reuse the conductive core material by providing a hot-melt adhesive layer adhering to the conductive core material and a thermosetting adhesive layer adhering to the conductive foamed elastic layer for an adhesive layer. SOLUTION: The conductive elastic roller consists of a hollow drum-like conductive core material 1 and a hot-melt adhesive layer 2 around the core material 1. A thermosetting adhesive layer 3 is formed on the hot-melt adhesive layer 2, and a conductive foamed elastic layer 4 is joined to the thermosetting adhesive layer 3. By joining the conductive flamed elastic layer 4 to the thermosetting adhesive layer 3, such problems can be avoided that a hot-melt adhesive molten in an adhering process impregnates lots of foams in the conductive foamed elastic layer 4 or that the molten hot-melt adhesive reaches the conductive foamed elastic layer 4 to be impregnated into a large number of foams, because the thermosetting adhesive has high viscosity.
