To provide a conductive silicone rubber composition by mixing particles prepared by coating carbon with nickel in organopolysiloxane, thereby to provide a conductive contact member capable of being vulcanized with an organic peroxide compound and of being formed into a stable and electrically low-resistance member and durable against long-time use and to provide a connector, a roll member used in a business machine and an electromagnetic wave shield gasket material.
This conductive silicone rubber composition is characterized by containing a) 100 pts.wt. of organopolysiloxane expressed by an average composition formula RaSiO(4-a)/2, where R is the same or a different kind of unsubstituted or substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group and (a) is a positive number of 1.90 to 2.05, b) 50-500 pts.wt. of conductive particles prepared by coating carbon with Ni and c) 0.1-10 pts.wt. of organic peroxide.
