Title:
CONDUCTIVE SYNTHETIC RUBBER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10231388
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To eliminate a problem that a rubber can not be used as sites requiring electroconductivity, whereby the rubber requires a secondary processing to pass an electric current there through on the employment of the rubber, because the rubber is originally an insulating material and does not pass the electric current there through, while the rubber has been used on many fields because of being excellent in flexibility, durability and elasticity.

This conductive synthetic rubber is obtained by compounding a rubber with fine metal particles and a conductive material except the metal, which are necessary for the passage of electric current, while maintaining the other original properties of the rubber. The conductive rubber can be used for sites requiring the conductivity. The rubber is a greatly excellent raw material, and its characteristics are utilized in many fields. The fields are however limited, because the rubber has a weal point that the rubber is an insulating material. The conductive synthetic rubber can remove the weal point, and can be used for electric equipemnts, building packings and impact-damping packings, while using the original characteristics of the rubber. The conductive synthetic rubber solves the problem of the electric insulation, and does not require any secondary processing for passing the electric current.
