In a conference system including a plurality of conference terminals and a connection control device that controls a connection with each of the conference terminals, the connection control device records information about the conference terminal in a past connection session and a participant as session history information. The conference terminal that is a connection destination candidate is presented by referring to the session history information in response to a connection destination candidate request of the conference terminal. The plurality of conference terminals transmit a connection request to the connection control device and receives the list of the conference terminals that are the connection destination candidates from the connection control device.
