To provide a connecting fitting for building structural members, which contributes to large improvement in earthquake resistance of a wooden construction, and achieves drastic improvement in mounting workability.

The connecting fitting connects the orthogonally crossing structural members of the construction, and consists of a main body and screw guide members. The main body is integrally formed of one fixed portion and the other fixed portion which are fixed to surfaces of the respective structural members orthogonally crossing each other. Each screw guide member is fixed to the fixed portion of the main body. The screw guide member is formed of a cylinder body vertically mounted on the fixed portion, a spring housed in the cylinder portion, and a pressing body attached to an upper portion of the spring. The fixed portion and the pressing body each have a through hole formed therein, and the through holes, and the center axes of the cylinder body and the spring are aligned on the same axial line.
