PURPOSE: To improve passenger service and make it fair by storing 0 as the balance on a stored fair card and also recording getting-ON/OFF information having specific contents when cash corresponding to the deficient amount of money is paid.

CONSTITUTION: A specific card processing machine at a connection station checks connection information recorded on the stored fair card (S5). For a connection passenger, the balance on the stored fair card is read out (S4). Then the deficient amount of money is calculated by subtracting the balance from the fare obtained by applying a connection reduction to the minimum fare of a connection destination (S6). Then when the cash corresponding to the deficient amount of money is paid, 0 is stored as the balance on the stored fair card and the specific contents are recorded as the getting-ON/OFF information (S8). Thus, when specific conditions are met irrelevantly to the stored fair card balance at the transfer station, the getting-ON/OFF information on the transfer station, getting-on start point, and paid fare is rewritten by the card processing machine.
