Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost by reducing the number of production processes and part items on the structure of a connected portion between the exhaust manifold collecting pipe and exhaust pipe connecting spherical joint of a multicylinder internal combustion engine.
SOLUTION: In this connection structure of an exhaust manifold collecting part for connecting the collecting pipe 4 of an exhaust manifold 1 to an exhaust pipe 14 through a spherical joint 17, the collecting pipe 4 is a double tube formed of a collecting pipe body 5 and an outer pipe 6 covering the outer peripheral surface thereof, and comprises the collecting pipe body 5, the outer pipe 6, and one flange 8 of the spherical joint 7 fitted to the outer pipe 6 formed integrally with each other by welding.
