Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector-connecting structure, by which a connector connection between the circuit of a door trim panel, e.g. a switch unit, and the circuit of a door inner panel can be made by use of a lever, with a small force and with good operability and efficiency.
SOLUTION: In a connector-connecting structure in which a connector 5 is provided with a driven pin 7 and a slide part 18 engaging the driven pin is provided on a lever 6, so that the connector 5 is fitted into a mating connector 24 by the rotation of the lever, a bracket 4 is provided on one of panels, the connector 5 is freely slidably provided on the bracket 4, the lever 6 is freely rotationally provided on the bracket 4, and the other panel is provided with the mating connector 24 and a pressure contact wall 28 for the lever 6. The pressure contact wall 28 is provided with a hook part 29 to which the lever 6 is hooked. The connector 5 is freely slidable in the horizontal direction, and the pressure contact wall 28 is located in a vertical position. By joining the panels together along the horizontal direction, the lever 6 is rotated and the connectors are fitted together.
