Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a connector directly attached to equipment capable of improving connection removal work by enabling the connector to be fitted to the other housing fixed onto a mounting panel in a small space and certainly while ensuring certain shielding.
CONSTITUTION: A connector 1 directly attached to equipment is composed of a female housing provided with a flange part 3f at its back end and a roughly L-letter shaped rear cover 4 mounted at the housing 3 back end by means of a flange part 7 provided on one side and provided with a flange part 9 to be mounted on a mounting panel 5 on the other side. For this connector 1 to be directly connected to a device, the fitting end surface of a female housing 3 is arranged almost perpendicular to a mounting panel 5 so that a male housing 12 can be fitted in almost parallel along the mounting panel 5 surface. A water resistance 0 ring is fitted to and inserted into the flange parts 3a and 9. The rear cover 4 is formed with conductive plastic, a contact piece 27 of a metal shell 26 is provided with a protrusion part 28, and a shield function is made better.
