The connector for the flexible board is equipped with a housing part 100, in which an aperture 110 inserted with a flexible board 10 is provided at one end part in the width direction, contacts 200 arranged inside the housing part 100, a cover part 300 which is axially supported at the axial support part 220 of the contact 200 and covers the aperture 110 and the other end part in the width direction of the housing 100, capable of opening and closing, and a support means 400 which supports the cover part 300 in an open state.
