Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous operations by disabling the accelerating function and enabling the resuming function when the difference between the vehicle speed of an operation switch and the stored vehicle speed when the constant- speed travel control is canceled is judged to be the predetermined range or more. CONSTITUTION:An operation switch 1 concurrently serves as operation switches enabling the resuming function and the accelerating function respectively. In this case, a detecting means 2 detecting whether the operation switch 1 is operated or not and the first judging means 3 judging whether the constant-speed travel control is performed or not are provided. The second judging means 4 is provided which judges whether the difference between the stored vehicle speed when the constant-speed travel control is canceled and the vehicle speed when the operation switch is operated is within the predetermined range or not. A control means 5 is provided which enables the resuming function if it is judged that the constant-speed travel control 1 is operated, for example.
