Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily generate a network by providing plural programmable mutual connection means at individual intersections of horizontal and vertical busses to realize mutual connection between horizontal segments and vertical long lines and between vertical segments and horizontal long lines. CONSTITUTION: A programmable gate array has a memory 200 consisting of plural memory cells F1 to FN. Program data on a line 201 is loaded to a shift register 202 in accordance with a clock signal on a line 203. A detection logic 204 reads out a preamble from data on the line 201. It sends a frame pointer 206 when detecting that a register 202 is full, and the pointer 206 designates a memory frame through a line 207 to successively load the data. When the whole of a constitution memory is loaded, a control logic 208 generates a program end signal on a line 210. The logic 208 controls the pointer 206 and the detection logic 204 in accordance with mode input from a line 209.
