Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable the easy detection of a neutral position in the winding state of a wire harness and the adjustment of the wire harness in mounting a clockwise connector by providing the casing of the clockwise connector with a member radially shiftable on the rotation of the casing. CONSTITUTION:In mounting a clockwise connector 1, the winding state of a wire harness 9 and a shiftable member 4 are first aligned respectively with the neutral positions thereof. Then, a movable casing 6 and a fixed casing 2 are engaged with each other, and a steering column 3 and the fixed casing 2 are fixed to each other. Thereafter, the axis of a steering wheel 10 and the coupling cylinder 62 of the movable casing 6 are coupled to each other. In this case, when the movable casing 6 is dislocated from the neutral position in mounting and demounting the connector 1, the movable casing 6 is turned so that the head part 41 of the shiftable member 4 will be aligned with the neutral position, thereby ensuring the easy re-alignment of the winding state of the wire harness 9 with the neutral position.
