Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a construction method for a building of electromagnetic shielding structure that facilitates joining deck plates and joint cover plates to steel beams or the like, and that achieves excellent electromagnetic wave shielding characteristics.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of deck plates 12 are placed on a steel beam 11 in such a way that their ends 12A1, 12A2 are opposed to each other at an interval. Electromagnetic wave shielding materials 14 are placed on the ends of the deck plates. A joint cover plate 15 is placed on the steel beam in such a way that the side edges 15b at both its ends cover the upper side of the electromagnetic wave shielding materials. Studs 16 are stood in a plurality of places at intervals on the bottom 15a. in the center of the joint cover plate, and the lower end of each of the studs is welded to the joint cover plate and the steel beam. The side edges 15b of the joint cover plate 15 are joined to the ends 12A1, 12A2 of the deck plates using drilling tapping screws Dts. Thus the joint cover plate is joined to the steel beam by welding the studs to the steel beam.
