Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction of a shield plate for facilitating assembly of a coaxial cable, offering good high-frequency characteristics together with a wide ground, and allowing easy machining.
SOLUTION: A coaxial cable 4 is inserted between rising pieces 15a, 15a to 15c, 15c of individual holding sections 12a to 12c, respectively, to hold the cable between them. The coaxial cable 4 is then positioned in a position for holding the cable by moving the coaxial cable 4 to a position in which a shield section 4b that constitutes a covering of the coaxial cable 4 comes into contact with a peripheral surface of a positioning projection 16. A core wire 4a is then soldered to a relay terminal 3. Also, the shield section 4b of the coaxial cable 4 is soldered to the holding sections 12a to 12c, each bent piece 14 that is in contact with a side of a metal-plated case 2a to the metal-plated case 2a of a relay 2, and a shield plate 10 to a ground plate 8 of the relay 2.
