Abstract:
PURPOSE:To surely execute droplet transfer by changing over the ignition bias at the tie of rising of a pulse current and the ignition bias from right before a pulse current peak value and narrowing down the ignition bias from right before the pulse current peak value to obtain the pulse current without a ripple. CONSTITUTION:The output of a current command circuit 13 is inputted to an attenuating circuit 20 and the output of this attenuating circuit 20 is inputted to one end of a comparator circuit 21 and the output of a current detection circuit 17 is inputted to the other end of the comparator circuit 21. The output of this comparator circuit 21 is inputted to a pulse current ignition bias changeover circuit 22 and the ignition bias is narrowed down from right before the pulse current peak value. The size of the current of a main circuit to rise by an ignition signal to a switching element such as a power transistor becomes smaller than that at the time of rising of the pulse current and the pulse current without the ripple is obtained without overshooting. By this method, the droplet transfer is executed surely and the arc voltage can be also set low and an undercut at high-speed welding can also be prevented.
