The contact arm assembly (30) includes a first contact arm (56) having a first end portion (140) and a second end portion (142). A first contact (76) and the first spring holding portion (148) are disposed at the first end portion (140). The second end portion (142) has a first tab member (150) for connecting with a first braid strap (106). A first pivot opening (144) extends through the first contact arm (56). The contact arm assembly (30) also includes first and second side plates (82, 80). The first side plate (82) is disposed close to the first side of the first contact arm (56). The second side plate (80) is disposed close to the second side of the first contact arm (56).
