PURPOSE: To provide a container for a barrel machining device heightened in machining capacity through the increase of fluidized bed generating quantity without being limited by the diameter and length.
CONSTITUTION: A spiral groove 4 described around a horizontal axis is formed at the wall part in the internal space of a container body 1. At the barrel machining time, a workpiece, polishing material and a compound accommodated in the container body 1 thereby flow in the axial direction while repeating circumferential reciprocation along the groove part of the spiral groove 4 formed in the container body 1. The workpiece, the polishing material and the compound therefore flow in the state of axially moving elements being added to circumferentially moving elements, so that the fluidized bed forming part is increased compared to the case of an existing container, and thus machining capacity is heightened.
