PURPOSE: To carry out traveling with a high safety and stability by loading a large quantity of loading boards, keeping the excellent lateral balance on a container transport vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: A number of accommodation boxes 2 for accommodating a plurality of containers 1 in superposed state are arranged at least in four rows in the longitudinal direction, and mounted on a load carrying platform 3 in shiftable mannerin the longitudinal directioin, and at the front part of the load carrying platform 3, both horizontal direction front part transfer bodies 4 and 4 which can shift each accommodation box 2 in the foremost part in the lateral direction on the front side of the left side two rows and right side two rows are arranged at the left and right. On an opening/closing door 5 installed in the rear part of the load carrying platform 3, both horizontal direction rear part transfer bodies 6 and 6 which can shift each accommodation box 2 in the rearmost part in the lateral direction on the rear side of left side two rows and right side two rows are arranged at left and right.
