Abstract:
The objective of the invention is to provide a container for carrying an experimental animal whose storage part and cover part are firmly joined, whose inside and outside are completely kept airtight, and whose inside is observed from the outside easily. This container for carrying an experimental animal comprising a top open storage part with its inside forming a space for storing an animal and its side wall formed with ventilation holes mounted with filter material and a cover part to be joined with the top of the storage part is provided with a lock rib formed downward in a predetermined height and thickness along the periphery of the top face of the storage part, a thin part in a predetermined height on the outside of the lock rib, and a lock lever whose one end is connected turnably on the outside of the cover part and the other end formed with a protrusion. The other end of the lock lever is fitted on the end of the rock rib for joining the storage part and the cover part and for preventing the separation of the storage part and the cover part; and the end of the thin part is tightly attached to the inside of the cover part for completely keeping the inside and the outside airtight.
