Abstract:

To facilitate transfer of ripped content data between a plurality of digital recording devices, and protect copyrights.

The system allows transfer or copy of ripped data stored in a car audio device 1 to other car audio device 2 under a predetermined condition. A user key ID (Idu1)corresponding to a user key data Ku and a device ID (IDa1) are given to the car audio device 1 as a transfer source, and combined data of the IDs is stored in an ID pair database 16. A request of transfer or copy of the data together with presentation of the two IDs is made from the car audio device 1, and when combination of the IDs match data in an ID pair database, a new device ID (IDa2) is issued, and the ID pair database 16 is updated.
