Abstract:

To reproduce another content at an arbitrary timing without being limited to an embedding timing of watermarked data.SOLUTION: A computer is caused to achieve: a first table for storing a synchronous point ID embedded as watermarked data and a scheduled timing of the synchronous point in association with each other; a second table for storing a start scheduled timing of a first sub-content; a detection function for detecting the synchronous point ID from a second sub-content to be reproduced in accordance with the progress of a main content; a function for obtaining the scheduled timing of the synchronous point on the basis of the detected synchronous point ID and the first table, and for obtaining a difference between the obtained scheduled timing of the synchronous point and a detection timing of the synchronous point ID; a function for determining a start timing of the first sub-content on the basis of the difference and the second table; and a function for controlling the reproduction of the first sub-content on the basis of the determined start timing of the first sub-content.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
