The content presenting device for presenting content data to a user, wherein quality deterioration program for deteriorating at least a portion of quality of the content data and copy information showing whether or not the content data are copied after being sold at the first sales are attached to the content data, is provided with an acquiring means for acquiring the content data, a content storing means for storing the acquired content data, a copy determining means for determining whether or not the content data are copied after the first sales on the basis of the copy information attached to the stored content data, and a deterioration presenting means for starting the quality deterioration program attached to the content data, deteriorating at least a portion of the quality of the content data and presenting the resultant content data to the user when the content data are copied after the first sale.
