Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a synthesized speech with high naturalness by partially emphasizing and suppressing phoneme continuance time length.
CONSTITUTION: A Japanese processing part 2 finds a phoneme continu time variation quantity in addition to phoneme train data and accent quantity data as to an input sentence and a rhythm processing part 3 generates a pitch pattern and an energy pattern from the phoneme train data and accent quantity, finds continuance time length of each phoneme from the phoneme train data, corrects the continuance time length with a correction value to be found on the basis of the time length variation quantity, finds the continuance time length parameter of the phoneme train data from the corrected continuance time length, and emphasizes or suppresses the synthesized speech according to the continuance time length of the phoneme.
