Title:
CONTINUOUS CONVEYING EQUIPMENT FOR PARTICLE MATTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS567832
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable a continuous conveyance of particles without the occurrence of pulsation, regardless of the wetted state of the particles, by a method wherein the particles are pressure-conveyed through the actions of a revolving annular high- speed air current, a dynamic pressure effect and an engulfing phenomenon, the latter two being caused by the aforesaid air current, that is, the particles are pressure-conveyed by utilizing a flow velocity of compressed air.

CONSTITUTION: Powder, particles, or the mixture of them are charged into a container 1 and a driving means 9 is actuated, and thereby the material is kneaded by an agitating blades with a shaft 7 rotated. A conveyor shaft 14 is rotated through the medium of a belt 17, and the material in the container 1 is extruded out to a discharge port 25 through a discharge cylinder 23 by means of a screw conveyor 23. Seperately, a compressed air is fed into a casing 3 in the direction of a tangent line, and it is then injected into a discharge port 25 through an annular gap c after revolving in an annular space 26 and passing through a flow inlet 44 located at the rear of a nozzle 4. This enables the formation of a laminar flow in proximity to a tapered drum 42 of the nozzle 4, and the material is conveyed by a high discharge pressure togetherwith a fluid from a nozzle 19.
