To obtain a wet-type continuously falling soot and dust-collecting apparatus of good collecting accuracy by arranging an injection nozzle in a manner to pour water nearly from a normal direction of an inner circumferential face of a collecting funnel.
Falling soot and dust in a predetermined amount of filtration drainage stored in a collecting funnel 1 is collected through touch with water. For example, 24 hours later from the start of the collection, a valve 10 is opened and a pump 8 is driven to pour filtration drainage through an injection nozzle 2 and guide the drainage in the funnel 1 to filter bottles 3. A nozzle opening 2a of the nozzle 2 is so arranged as to pour the filtration drainage nearly from a normal direction of an inner circumferential face of a vertical wall 1b of the funnel 1 and flow the drainage along an inclined face 1a of the funnel 1 spirally. The drainage in the funnel 1 guided into the bottle 3 is separated by a filter paper in the bottle 3 to falling soot and dust, and water. The water is discharged to a water tank 6, while the falling soot and dust is left on an upper surface of the filter paper. A check valve is interposed in the middle of a piping 7 to prevent the drainage in the funnel 1 from running opposite.
