Title:
CONTINUOUSLY REPRODUCING DEVICE FOR RECORDING MEDIUM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05314531
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To continuously reproduce two recording media at a lower cost.

CONSTITUTION: A CPU confirms the end previously announcing signal of an optical disk 1 based on the output of a photodetector 20 during the reproduction of an optical disk 1. Then the CPU drives a spindle motor 4 to revolve the disk 1 and moves a mobile optical system 33 to a lead-in part. When the reproduction of the disk 1 is complete, the CPU controls an optical path changing means 22 to switch an optical path 25 to an optical path 26. The system 33 leads in the focusing/tracking serve to an optical disk 2. The CPU orders an optical head part 30 to read the TOC information and to jump over the tracks up to the program searching position. Thus the part 30 starts to reproduce the information on the disk 2.
