Title:
CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012159159
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To achieve a structure capable of sufficiently reducing a load on a starter motor for starting an engine without the occurrence of excessive sliding at each traction part, in a continuously variable transmission whose gear ratio can be changed infinitely.

After the engine is started, a controller gradually increases pressing force generated by a pressing device on condition that a shift lever is left in a non-travel state. Then, tilting angles of trunnions having supported respective power rollers are mutually synchronized. Thereafter, on the basis of a learning function, a step count for adjusting the gear ratio of a troidal type continuously variable transmission to a desired value is learned.
