Abstract:
To allow for appropriate changing of imaging region in an imaging apparatus where the imaging region is variable.SOLUTION: In a network camera 100, a system control section 120 determines whether or not a speech, collected by a microphone unit 110, has a prescribed feature. When the speech has the prescribed feature, a sound source direction specification part 112 specifies the sound source direction of the speech. A speech enhancement part 113 performs beam forming by using the microphone unit 110, and emphasizes the speech in the specified sound source direction. An imaging region setting part 102 changes the imaging region so as to include the specified sound source direction, by a PTZ function. Thereafter, when such a state that a captured image has no change for a prescribed time, and a speech having the prescribed feature in the sound source direction is not detected for a prescribed time, continues for a prescribed time, the system control section 120 returns to the original imaging region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
