Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain a quick and accurate searching action without limiting the moving speed of a pickup by opening a control loop when a speed detecting signal reaches a prescribed level. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic processing circuit 12 calculates the distance between the present and target positions of a pickup and controls a reference voltage generating circuit 27 based on the information on said distance to produce a voltage signal in response to the distance. A comparator 26 compares the voltage signal given from the circuit 27 with the voltage signal given from a range detecting circuit 25 and delivers this difference voltage to a feed motor 21 via a changeover switch 14, a comparator 19 and an amplifying circuit 20. Thus the pickup is moved. The output voltage of an integration circuit 24 is changed toward the level of the voltage signal delivered from the circuit 27 in response to the moving distance of the pickup. Therefore, the moving speed of the pickup is accelerated up to a certain time point and then decelerated.
