Abstract:

PURPOSE: To perform inching operation speedily by providing a means for predicting the sink-and-float of an elevator cage accompanied by the change of a load at the following stop floor on the basis of the load detected at a detecting means, thereby driving a fluid pressure source in advance.

CONSTITUTION: At the start-up time of an elevator, a loadage in a cage 1 is detected by the detection signal of a fluid pressure detector 20, and the sink-and- float of the cage 1 at the time of stopping at the following floor is predicted during the running of the elevator. In case the sinking of the cage 1 at the time of stopping at the following floor is predicted, the low speed side 8a of a two-stage speed motor 8 is driven simultaneously with door opening upon the arrival of the elevator cage 1 at the floor, thus preparing against the sinking of the cage 1. The pressure of pressure oil is thereby heightened to be ready to be fed any time into a cylinder, so that the start-up delay of the motor can be avoided, and the sinking of the cage 1 can be speedily dealt with.
