Title:
CONTROL DEVICE FOR HEAD LAMP OF CAR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58141944
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To give pedestrians safety to cross a pedestrian crossing by putting off the head lamp automatically when the car is going to stop and thereby informing other cars of the car's stopping particularly at night.

CONSTITUTION: When a car is going to stop with braking or the like pulse signals from a car speed sensor 2 is interrupted, discharging of a capacitor C3 will turn off a transistor Q and a transistor Q4 is continued, and thus a relay K1 is actuated. At this time, the coil of a relay K3 is energized through contacts K1, K1' and K2 of the relays K2 and K1 which have been in self-hold during the the car running, and this actuated relay turns off the head lamp 5. When thereafter the accelerator pedal is stamped again for resumption of running, pulse signals from the car speed sensor 2 will turn on and off the transistor Q2 in the timer circuit 3 repeatedly to have the capacitor C3 charged and also to put the transistor Q3 in turned-on condition. Thus the transistor Q4 is turned off and relays K1 and K3 are restored to light up the head lamp 5 again.
