Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine which avoids repetitive adjustments and automates adjustments.
CONSTITUTION: An engine-controlling computer 18 performs arithmetic to calculate the optimum resistance values of variable resistances (14, 16, 20, 48, 50, 52, 54, 64) and a semiconductor switch 6 is turned on and off according to computer outputs (O1-On) to obtain the desired resistance values. Since the optimum values of the resistances constituting a hot-wire type airflow meter are calculated using the computer, repetitive adjustments can be avoided and adjustments can be automated.
