Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for internal combustion engine capable of preventing the abnormal operation of an internal combustion engine such as instantaneous knocking resulting from the delay of control of the control factors of the internal combustion engine such as fuel incremental value and ignition timing which are controlled according to an intake air amount when the intake air amount is reduced for an instantaneous period so as to reduce the shift shock of an automatic transmission.
SOLUTION: When an automatic transmission 23 is shifted up, a throttle valve 19 is closed instantaneously so as to reduce an intake air amount. By this, a shift shock on the automatic transmission 23 is reduced. During the closing control of the throttle valve 19, the fuel incremental value and ignition timing of an engine 12 is maintained under the condition that the closing operation is started. As a result, an instantaneous knocking resulted from the fuel incremental value and delay of control of ignition timing at the end of the closing operation can be prevented from occurring.
