Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine capable of properly performing the valve closing control of a throttle valve by determining the depression of an accelerator pedal not intended by a driver.
SOLUTION: The number of times that a fuel cut flag FFC is inverted from 0 to 1 in the fully open state of an accelerator is counted (S20, S21). When the number of times of the inversion reaches a specified value CNTX and the varied amount of an accelerator operation amount AP is small, it is determined that the depression of the accelerator pedal not intended by the driver is performed, and a control to gradually close the throttle valve is executed (S22 to S26).
