Abstract:
To obtain a control device and control method which can stabilize behavior of rear wheels of a saddle-riding type vehicle adequately.SOLUTION: The control device and control method are controlled so that a slip degree of wheels of a saddle-riding type vehicle (100) becomes an allowable slip degree or less, and stable control, which makes the allowable slip degree of rear wheels (4) smaller than the allowable slip degree of the rear wheels (4) when it is determined that the behavior of the rear wheels (4) is in a stable state, is executed on the basis of a slip angle (θ1) of the saddle-riding type vehicle (100) if it is determined that the behavior of the rear wheels (4) of the saddle-riding type vehicle (100) is in an unstable state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
