Abstract:
To provide a control device and a control method capable of effectively improving safety in turning travel of a lean vehicle.SOLUTION: In a control device (20) and a control method according to the present invention, an evaluation unit of the control device (20) evaluates the degree of risk of turning travel of a lean vehicle (1) on a curved road before the lean vehicle (1) enters the curved road, and an execution unit of the control device (20) causes a rider support system (10) to execute a driving support operation corresponding to a result of evaluation of the degree of risk in the evaluation unit, and the evaluation unit evaluates the degree of risk based on non-straight posture information of the lean vehicle (1).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
