Abstract:
To obtain a control device and a control method which enable improvement of safety of a saddle-riding type vehicle.SOLUTION: In a control device (20) and a control method according to the invention, an acquisition unit of the control device (20) acquires on-vehicle state information, i.e., information on a state of an imaged body riding on a saddle-riding type vehicle (1), based on an output result of a rear camera (15) which is provided at the rear side relative to a riding position of a rider (2) of the saddle-riding type vehicle (1) and oriented to the front side. An execution unit of the control device (20) executes driving assist operation for the rider (2) by a rider assist system (10) based on the on-vehicle state information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
