Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve stability of a rotation control of an optical disk by reducing influence of modulation component of a control signal in each case in which N is made 2 or more.
CONSTITUTION: The waveform of a wobble signal passed through a band pass filter 21 is shaped by a wobble comparator 22 and a wobble clock is obtained. Based on this wobble clock, address information is obtained by a portion constituted with a phase comparator 26 and a digital PLL 22 and the like. On the other hand, a frequency of the wobble clock is divided with the prescribed division ratio by a frequency divider 25, and a rotary speed error is detected by the frequency division output in an error detecting circuit 31. This frequency division ratio is set so that a frequency of an output of the frequency divider 25 is made (1/7)×(1/2)×(1/N)×FS based on that a data rate with which a wobble signal is frequency-modulated is (1/7)×FS (44.1kHz) and average frequency of a wobble signal is (1/2)×FS. However, N is integer of 2 or more.
