Abstract:
PURPOSE:To minimize inertia force during high speed running, to prevent seizure of a clutch and to increase durability by operating a differential driving shaft braking mechanism when it is detected that the rotational frequency of a differential driving shaft is more than a designated value and switching hydraulic clutches for forward and backward movements. CONSTITUTION:Hydraulic clutches 12, 13 for forward and backward movements of a running system speed change mechanism 7 interlocking with an engine are freely switched by switching a control valve 14. A rotational frequency detector 25 and a brake mechanism 21 are provided on a differential driving shaft 8, and a detection value of the rotational frequency detector 25 is input to a control device 27 to control the respective clutch mechanisms 12, 13 and the brake mechanism 21. When the rotational frequency detector 25 detects more than a designated value, the brake mechanism 21 is operated to brake the differential driving shaft 8 and the hydraulic clutch mechanisms 12, 13 for forward and backward movements can be switched. Thus, inertia force during high speed running can be minimized, seizure of the clutches can be prevented, the durability thereof can be increased, and smooth speed change operation can be accomplished.
