To provide a control device of a variable displacement compressor capable of achieving improvement of controllability of discharge capacity control of the variable displacement compressor and controllability of evaporating temperature feedback control of a refrigerating cycle including the compressor and furthermore improvement of precision of compressor torque estimation by precisely estimating a control output value when discharge capacity of the variable displacement compressor is saturated.
This control device of the variable displacement compressor has a refrigerating cycle, an electromagnetic control valve to communicate and block pressure between a regulation chamber and a discharge chamber or an inlet chamber so as to maintain differential pressure between at least one of pressure of the regulation chamber and pressure of the inlet chamber and pressure of the discharge chamber at specified differential pressure, the variable displacement compressor devised to control discharge quantity of a refrigerant by changing the differential pressure by changing electromagnetic force of the electromagnetic control valve by a signal from outside, and a variable displacement compressor controlling means to output control input to control its discharge capacity. The variable displacement compressor controlling means has a means to estimate control input to the compressor when the discharge capacity is saturated.
