Abstract:

To provide a control method of a battery power source device that controls the temperature of each battery constituting an assembly of many batteries so as to maintain at an appropriate operation temperature.

The battery power source device comprises a battery pack 8 in which a plurality of battery modules, in which a plurality of unit cells being a secondary battery are connected in series, are housed by being connected in series, and an air blower 5 which keeps the battery modules at an appropriate temperature by forced air-cooling of this battery pack 8. The power source device is maintained at an appropriate operating temperature and in operation condition without over-charge and over-discharge by controlling the air blower 5 based on the detected data of sensors that measure the voltage, current, and temperature.
