Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for an inkjet recorder which secures safety at a main tank replacement time or the like and also realizes stable ink supply from an ink tank to a sub tank.
SOLUTION: In the control method for the inkjet recorder which is provided with the main tank 61 having a storage part 106 and stored in a pressurization tank 70, the sub tank 87 communicating with an inkjet head 34 while storing ink, a tank storage part 23 for storing the main tank 61, and a control part 188 capable of storing ink information, and which supplies ink to the sub tank 87 by controlling a valve based on a full/reduced liquid signal of the sub tank 87, when the apparatus is driving, driving of a pressurization source 83 of the pressurization tank is stopped and the inside of the pressurization tank 70 is opened to the air on the basis of an open signal of a door body of the tank storage part. Moreover, the ink information of the control part 188 is written into the main tank storage part 106.
