PURPOSE: To create a display showing the state of a common structure data object of hierarchy constitution having a database which can be accessed in quick query mode so that many user use it in real-time collaboration environment and to trace the change.

CONSTITUTION: This method has a stage for making displays 26 and 28 of data objects in common structure including data to data objects in relative structure on plural work stations 14A and 14B. This stage displays visual instruction of the state of operation affecting the states of the data objects in the common structure and alterations of input contents in operations generated on other work stations. A query means is displayed on a relative database and when respective users access and alter input, the input is traced and when the users request operations displayed on other work stations, the states of the input in the displays on other work stations are updated at the time of the completion of the alterations by the users.
