Abstract:
To provide a control method and so on capable of suppressing needless changes in the light output state of a headlight.SOLUTION: A control method according to the present disclosure includes: obtaining (receiving) position information (a danger warning signal) indicating an object position where an object is present (S102); determining whether a vehicle is being driven automatically or driven manually (S103); when determining that the vehicle is being driven manually (No in S103), performing an inspection as to whether the object position is located within a prescribed region of a travel route of the vehicle, on the basis of the position information (S104); when the object position is located within the prescribed region (Yes in S104), changing the light output state of a headlight from a first state to a second state (S105); and when determining that the vehicle is being driven automatically (Yes in S103), and when the object position is not located within the prescribed region (No in S104), keeping the light output state of the headlight unchanged (S109).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
