Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method which designates all resources in a multiprocessor system related to one prescribed processing by various systems and utilizes them.
CONSTITUTION: Plural processors 18 to 23 of the multiprocessor system where this method is applied include interfaces which are provided with plural preliminarily selected storage positions which are assigned to various specific transactions, namely, tasks at arbitrary times. A message includes transaction discrimination data (transaction number) which directly addresses a storage position in an interface. A command code used for message management is combined with this transaction number. The transaction number and the command code occupy a prescribed position in a precedence protocol, and this protocol mutually connects plural processors 18 to 23 and is monitored by a network 50 which merges plural messages on the way of transfer.
