Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy change of a stopping method for an industrial robot on the user side.SOLUTION: A control system comprises a monitoring unit for monitoring states of a plurality of input signals of I/O 12 of a control device 11 which controls an industrial robot, a display unit 21 for displaying a plurality of stopping and operation methods selectable by an operator as stopping and operation methods for the industrial robot when the input signal has switched from a normal state for each input signal, and an input unit 22 (a selection unit) for the operator to select the stopping and operation methods for the industrial robot for each input signal from among the plurality of stopping and operation methods for each input signal displayed on the display unit 21. When determining that any of the input signals has switched from a normal state based on a result of monitoring the plurality of input signals of the I/O 12, the control device 11 stops or activates the industrial robot by the stopping or operation method selected by the operator with respect to that input signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
